pretty pretty picture

i miss the excitement i always got when i unwrapped my tootsie pop to find the drawing of the indian shooting a star and put it in the pile ready to take to 7-11 to get my free ones. i thought about this today and went online to find out if this was still going on.  apparently it was never actually an official promotion by Tootsie, and no one seems to know how it got started. i wonder if any places actually still honor those wrappers. anyone know?
